The Department of Medicine of Medical Center Manila shall be an internationally recognized facility which adheres to the highest standards and ethical ideals in the practice of Internal Medicine, and is committed to the promotion of health and wellness and the improvement of the quality of life of the patients it serves.

Mission

The Department of Medicine is staffed by highly competent, caring and ethical health care providers, committed to:

1. set the highest standards in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases in the field of Internal Medicine by:

a.) providing Continuing Medical Education to its consultant staff
b.) creating and sustaining a Residency Training Program that adheres to the standards set by its mother organization, the Philippine College of Physicians (PCP)
c.) providing education, training and supervision to its undergraduate medical students, postgraduate interns and paramedical personnel in the are of its patients.
